A jailbreak sounds promising, but my friend managed to screw up a whole host of phones (he's got monayyy) on jailbreaking, so I think I'll just stay stock...

Plus, I still get Apple's warranty coverage and support for the next iOS. At least I think I do...

(in the US) you don't get warranty after the first year is up. You get iOS support, but whatever. Also, there's literally no way to screw up anything with JB. Jailbreaking in itself only adds Cydia (and some repos). Using ppsync for app piracy, iapcracker for in-app purchases, and other somewhat shady jb apps will mess stuff up. But the usual theming/customization stuff (Winterboard, themes, Springtomize, customLS, etc) have all been proven to do nothing wrong.
